CITY OF RUSHFORD VILLAGE

33 SQUARE MILES

The City of Rushford Village is nestled in the Root River Valley between bluffs and State Forest Land.  33 miles square, the Village actually surrounds the two cities of Peterson, MN and Rushford MN.  The State Scenic By-Way (State Hwy 16) runs East and West through the City, much of it next to the State Bike Trail, which crosses the Snowmobile Trail, and all of these follow along the Root River.  The Root River is used extensively for canoeing, fishing, and tubing, with launch areas.  Much of the Village is rolling farmlands; there is some small manufacturing, many small business, and in-home business.  For information on the area please check into Fillmore County, Southeastern MN, or the Mississippi Valley area.
